I have had opponets leave the game once they are losing. For example, I see the following message appear.
Warning, mulekedebicicreta. Leaving games without resigning will result in a temporary ban.
So how many games is an individual warned before they are actually banned?

I asked the same question and never got a precise answer, I think it's a secret and we will never know, we just have to accept it that we don't know I guess

I think it only happens if you get repeated warnings in succession. If it happens occasionally over the course of many games, probably nothing happens.

To my understanding, the warnings reset so long as you don't trigger a temporary ban.
However, once you trigger a temporary ban, the length of the ban will increase for each subsequent temporary ban.

Interesting, I would suggest with as many players are here, it would be tough to control unless there was an automatic system set in place rather than determined on an individual base by a moderator.
Thanks to all who responded.

I think there probably is an automated system. Likely it works something like this: Each time you have an incomplete game, you get a warning. If you get more than 5 warnings in a 24 hour period, you get a ban of N minutes. If you have already had one ban on your account, your ban gets extended to 2N, 3N, 4N, etc. This would be fairly trivial to automate.

"Banning" decisions are a problem. I mean that if you have 10-30 seconds left with a losing/non clear position (game with increment of 10 seconds for exemple), it is logical to look for the right move. Sometimes one do not find. Game over, no more time. Why is there this warning message ?
Because sometimes one find a move and the game resumes.
