Looky here, RoundMound is lecturing on social prowess :)

He simply doesn’t get it. Lichess said: Fork off!
So Bobby Fischer said a very similar thing in the early 2000's. So far his opinion (and yours) have been proven completely wrong. I don't mean to be rude, but I would be more apt to believe this if the person writing was rated 2700 or higher.
I'm all for it!
8x8 is very, very stupid. It just feels wrong. It should be 10x10.

The fairy pieces should be Capablanca's Rook-Knight, and Bishop-Knight.

Checkers should be changed to 10x10 too.

I'd even suggest to promote to things that don't originally exist on the board, such as:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nightrider_(chess)

But this won't be accepted - the change is too drastic - people are cowards.

Such variants already exist. Grand Chess for instance. Many variants, including Capablanca's Chess are played on a 10x8 board. Which, IMO feels better for 20 pieces a side.

That doesn't need to change. International Checkers (Draughts) is played on a 10x10 board. The game exists since the 16th century.

Accepted by whom? There are hundreds of chess variants out there. If you want to play a 10x10 variant, noone will stop you. If you want Nightriders, go ahead, play a variant with Nightriders.

People will object, and rightly so, if you try to prevent them to play they want.

What are you trying to start here?
Why would you even attempt to ruin the game.
Chess is eternal, you will not be able to.
I'm not memorizing or reading any books or practice puzzle/chess engine so my chess still alive?
