"I was going to prove how good it is by going to Vegas and making loads of money, but now I'm not sure I can be bothered."
It doesn't matter anyways, even if you published a perfect 15 or 20 moves where any deviation leads to a disadvantage, people will play those and call them "gambits." For example, say you play the perfect line from your opening but someone like Carlsen doesn't and now you have a quarter pawn advantage, are you going to be able to hold on to that quarter pawn advantage against Carlsen through the rest of the game?
@RamblinDave Careful.. making us laugh could be considered a 'hate crime'! For the record, I didn't laugh, so you're safe for now.

Yes I was thinking that too. Or "I solved chess" but there is nobody smart enough to see that. Haters is not proof of being right, if they really are, anyway.

It is more subtle and is actually pretty much equivalent to the claim that chess is draw when perfect, proof, the masters do it a lot.

Or, it is making a statistical statement that not one game or one tournament is enough, there should be enough practionner of that sub-catalog of truncated sequences, to test that. It would have to be tested with many games.

The chance that competitors inside games as much as outside games adopt a concerted experimental approach like that makes for such claim to be unverifiable, by impossible cooperation likelyhood.

such a claim can persist for longer that what we felt the vibes of. And I am not saying the claim is wrong, just not likely to be verifiable anytime soon just because of some chess culture, or ongoing constraints. so the claim is safe.

And maybe tournaments about 8x8 is DEAD long live to 8x8 online then, random mixing or casual forever
