Starting from move 2.

No, you already receive the per-move-increment for move 1.

Wait, what, or is different here at Lichess??
At least according to the official FIDE rules, you already receive the per-move-increment for the first move.

No you don't because the move 1 is the one you make within the 20 seconds otherwise you lose the game. And your clock doesn't change there.

In lichess:after second move u get +5
OTB:since the first move

Thanks for the info.

I really dislike that Lichess offhandedly changed FIDE's official chess rules regarding this detail. I have opened a thread bringing this up here: https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/lichess-implements-increment-incorrectly

As for your argument: I don't see how Lichess' rule change could sensibly have to do with a special online chess requirement of having to make a first move within 20 seconds. The clock could just as well start at for instance 10:05 for that.

And by the way, are you sure you loose the game (and rating) after 20 seconds without a first move on Lichess? On Chess.com, the game is aborted without a rating change in that case.

This was just the explanation about what move 1 is, in case you were confused.
I did not say that Lichess is right about changing what fide says. Personally I don't mind.
Although, what I would probably reply in the other thread, which is also what I think some people will actually do, is that otb is one thing and is regulated by fide rules and online is another thing and every chess website is free to set their own rules.

If you are paired via lobby games get aborted, if you are paired via arena you lose game and rating, if you are paired via swiss tournament you lose game but not rating. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's the same on chesscom.
