Hello everyone.

Firs of all, as you may already know it IS impossible to accurately calculate FIDE OTB Elo using Lichess or Chess.com ratings. The reason is that rating systems and player pools are different. However there is a way to estimate your OTB Elo accurately and without ever touching the real chess board, that is, using FOA (FIDE Online Arena) titles.

Before you proceed with the guide, understand this: FOA titles are a SCAM. There is no reason to get them, and you will not gain any chess players' respect by holding these titles.

The procedure is simple: Register in FOA, pay for the membership, and complete the norms for getting a title (no need to actually pay and get them, just be eligible)

Then use this chart to estimate your OTB Elo:

Standard -> Rapid -> Blitz
ACM: 1591, 1581, 1603
AFM: 1696, 1685, 1706
AIM: 1815, 1799, 1818
AGM: 1933, 1918, 1939

This numbers are average OTB ratings of FOA title holders for November 2024. They were calculated using a script that i wrote myself in Java. That means, average AGM has a OTB rating of 1939 in Blitz. Therefore, if you are eligible for AGM title, you are probably around 1939 OTB in Blitz.
