take back button

i am a new member. had a mouse slip which was obvious to opponent and he/she allowed me to take back.
The same thing happened in reverse just now and i wanted to offer opponent a take back but could not figure out where button was. Help please

You have to enable takebacks in settings in order to have that option in game.
Go to settings, under the tab of "Game behavior" you can find an option to enable takebacks (in casual games, always and never). Note that this will only toggle the ability to request a takeback, it doesn't mean that you have to accept one if you choose "always".
If you have takebacks enabled, there should be an icon next to the draw offer one which looks like an arrow. This is the "propose a takebakc" button.
