One thing I noticed in Lichess studies is that there is no grouping of similar studies for example you can have 2 studies of Ruy Lopez in completely different places in your study repertoire.
Idea is for lichess developers to make a study and then sub study within it.
What I want to say for example


RUY LOPEZ(one big study where we can make black and white side studies)

----RUY LOPEZ WHITE SIDE(as the main study) and then inside it:

--Ruy Lopez OPENING (as the first sub study and in this study also sub sub study inside)
-ruy lopez Steinitz defense
-ruy Lopez Berlin defense

--Ruy Lopez TACTICS (as the second sub study and in it subsubstudies)
-ruy Lopez tactic in 4
-ruy Lopez tactic in 3

--Ruy Lopez STRATEGY (as the third sub study and in it subsubstudies)
-ruy Lopez strategy in Berlin defense
-ruy Lopez stategy in Steinitz defense

----RUY LOPEZ BLACK SIDE

--Ruy Lopez OPENING
-ruy lopez Steinitz defense
-ruy Lopez Berlin defense

--Ruy Lopez TACTICS
-ruy Lopez tactic in 4
-ruy Lopez tactic in 3

--Ruy Lopez STRATEGY

Really good idea. I'm still new here, but I've done a few of the studies and wish we had better filters, e.g. rather than "new," "popular," and so on I'd like an option to filter studies by openings, tactics, etc. as well and maybe have something noting like, which studies are good for beginners, which are better for intermediate players, and which are good for more advanced players so people can more easily find what they're looking for or more easily find something new to try, instead of the studies page just being the latest studies. (If this already exists, I've not noticed it yet.)

Studies can be tagged (i am not sure if @Triangel meant that):

* In the study, under the board, click the "PGN tags" button. Then click "manage topics". Give tags, separated by commas and press "apply".
* Create overviews of those topics at lichess.org/study/topic . Add the tags, press "save" and reload. The topics will appear in the menu on the left side.

Eg. you could create three separate studies "Ruy Lopez Opening", "Ruy Lopez strategy" and "Ruy Lopez tactics" and tag all three with "Ruy Lopez". Then in the overview you would have these three studies under the "Ruy Lopez" menu item.
