Spectator Question

I was just playing a 60+10 against someone and during the game it showed that, for several minutes, we had one spectator. If we weren't on LichessTV, how did we have someone spectating our game? I'm wondering because I know we can't just freely watch any game as there is no game list so I'm left curious as to who this spectator was and how they got there.

Thanks

If you post in the forum, and someone then clicks on your username, they can decide to watch your current game.
Also happened to me several times.

Your playing history is public. I, for one, like to watch random games for not much apparent reason.

Ahhh...I see. Very, very cool features. Thanks for clearing it up for me!

There used to be a list of all ongoing games as well, but I'm not sure what happened to this... it was probably removed.

If someone finds your profile (either by clicking on your name after you posted on the forums or by simply looking for your name in the players list) he can see your active games. If you want to watch someone's games you can do so if you know their username.
