You can play against BOT maia 1 , 5 and 9 on lichess. Alternatively you can play against stockfish :
level 1 = 800 on lichess
level 2 = 1100
level 3 = 1400
level 4 = 1700
level 5 = 2000
level 6 = 2300
level 7 = 2700
level 8 = 3000
take your pick
the drawback with stockfish is that you can only play casual games

Is Aquarium still supporting? Because I am thinking about buy it but it is like there are no update si ce long time

I think playing people not computers is the best for improving. pick a time control where you can spend time calculating.

after you finish a game, analyse it by yourself, step through each move, try to remember what you were thinking and why you chose the move you made and try to find better moves. After you do that, let an engine analyse the game and see what it says are good and bad moves.

all of that can be done for free right here.

based on legal troubles the chessbase company has been in, i want to avoid giving them my money. Unfortunately I think their database of games is the defacto standard, but, you can hold off buying it for now. If you get to a point where you're regularly playing in OTB FIDE tournaments you can look into buying it then.

He/she is doing that to almost every post on the forum. You can check the username by hovering the thumb down symbol and report it to the moderator if that's bothering you.

by the way do false accusations backfire on you?

What are the numbers based on? I played level 5 Stockfish and it did not seem as strong as players with rating 1700-1900 I played so far, rather at the level of human players rated 1500-1600. But that's just one game so hardly a sufficient sample for statistics.

Never heard of that. Usually Lichess asks for link of the games in case of cheating accusation, so there is evidence. Again if that's really bothering you, you can report it. Or just let it go.

It wasn't actively developed the last time I checked. They just update the splash screen and the main database and possibly fix a bug or two, CAP isn't updated, no major changes, no new features. So essentially just the database is updated. It's still a capable program. Check out Carl Bicknell's videos on YT (@ carlbicknell5603 there) before you decide.
Usually they would release a new version around November/December.
