smiley's in the messaging app

I saw that somebody who I was messaging with used a smiley in his message, but I can't find any way to put smiley's in my messages. How can I do that?

#1 You can put Emoji/Smiley but if you are on PC/Laptop then your Device must be windows 10, then you can do it, steps for it: in the chat, right click, on the top EMOJI option appears, click that, then you can add any emoji there! If you are on Mobile/Tab, then its very simple, your keyboard must contain emoji option somewhere, enable it, if none, then install emoji keyboard :)

Thanks guys for your input. But I don't have Windows 10, I have Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. So I still cannot make any emojis.

I guess I'll just have to live with that.

There are worse things in life. For instance losing a chess game, God forbid.

Just use Windows key + Period (.)
