"... Overall, I would advise most players to stick to a fairly limited range of openings, and not to worry about learning too much by heart. ... the average player only needs to know a limited amount about the openings he plays. Providing he understands the main aims of the opening, a few typical plans and a handful of basic variations, that is enough. ..." - FM Steve Giddins (2008)

Worth looking at the Pegasus System, a d4 opening. Also the Ponziani if you prefer e4.

For nice summary videos about every opening I recommend the Youtube channel "Hanging Pawns". Just search on Youtube for the channel name + opening name which is of interest for you. Below is an example link. For opening recommendations it would be necessary to know which kinds of positions you like and dislike e.g. sharp versus positional, early without queens or not, opposite side castling or not, symmeric versus asymmetric, fianchetto positions, isolated queens pawn, etc.

Chessable.com will be your friend- courses on basically every good opening (and even some dubious ones) by chess masters that know how to teach very well. most of the courses you have to pay for, but there is still some very good free content like this free caro-kann course for players around your level: chessable.com/the-caro-kann-for-club-players/course/77954/

You have to find what gets you excited and isn't dubious.
I told myself to be a positional old man chess yet I ended up with Grunfeld, Kalashnikov, and Sveshnikov.
Some openings aren't as rock solid as others but are still fun openings. Like Alekhine and Dutch.
Jobava london is a bit wild. Play the scotch or Bishop's opening. h4. Find something crazy from Alphazero or Leela lol.
