In the near future, I'll be hosting a local chess competition and I'm looking for a way to analyze the games that are being played, in real-time. It'll be a huge aid for the analysts and the commentators. The games themselves will take place on lichess. Is it possible to do this real-time analysis on lichess or would I need third party software for it? Is there any other recommended alternatives?

Are you using DGT boards plus a broadcast? Anyways, I believe you can broadcast a lichess game and have the analysis show up on the side.

To broadcast via lichess, you'll have to use the API to get a user's ongoing games with lichess.org/api#operation/apiUserCurrentGame, then push it to the broadcast with https://lichess.org/api#operation/broadcastPush.
No, we do not have any DGT boards. The competition will take place online. I was hoping there was a way to automatically get the position and analyze it. But if such thing does not exist, then manually entering the positions will be the way to go.
That was not clear, sorry! To do the steps listed near the bottom, you'll use an ongoing lichess game, not a game in progress via a DGT board.
