Hi I reached 1961 in rapid but blitz 1568 I mean there are 393 ratings diffrence is that normal you think?

I think it's normal. Don't worry about that.

I think it's a bit bigger difference than is typical. It's probably because you have not played so many blitz games.

It's normal since you need to have better speed skills in Blitz, you can get flagged or to lose with Time pressure. In your mind, keep your rapid rating as your real rating.

I have at the moment Blitz1450, Rapid 1770. Classical 1990. That ́s because I honestly don ́t give a damn about my Blitz rating; I play it for fun whenever I feel like it, no matter whether I ́m simultaneously frying fish fingers for my daughter, or have already drunk 4 beers, or am expecting an important phone call.

Exception: Blitz Arenas I take seriously, usually have a performance of 1600-1800, and regularly beat 1900+ players who are berserking and can ́t get through my defence in their allotted 2 1/2 min :)
