Pychess does use some parts of lichess's code, it has a lot of interesting variants on it, but too few users. I think lichess mentioned pychess somewhere else that said something like projects that use lichess's code or something.

Mate gtambi is the lead mod for pychess. Im on frequently and I like alot of the modes (especially atomic and yes I know its here to). Pychess is intesting site that I definetly think everyone should join

Yeah I have been in contact with gtambi because I am curious about the site etc. :D
@TacticalMonkey apparently,Pychess is a website made for chess variants and is designed for lichess users.You can join PyChess using ur lichess account.
