I'm sure this will differ from person to person, but is it normal to have a huge disparity between these scroes? For instance, I had a recent tactics score of 2200 and a rapid rating <1600.
Is this normal? Should they be similar? Is it the norm for tactics rating to be so much higher? Am, I cursed with good tactics but eternally poor strategy? Help!

Puzzle ratings don't mean much of anything. I mean, look at mine...like I could really get a rating that high for something that actually mattered.

I see what you mean--you have a puzzle rating around 2600. So, I guess the puzzle ratings run much higher.

See, in puzzles one has unlimited time but in actual games one is under time pressure. So, puzzle rating can be any high. Hope you understand the difference and hence there's no relation between puzzle rating and game rating.

Additional difference: in a game situation, three or more moves might be equally good for you, but you know in advance with a puzzle that the engine has predetermined there is only one good move on each turn - so you know to look for that move.

You don't have a puzzle rating. It's better to have.

Not quite. With 2200 in puzzles you should be 1800-2000 in rapid. Probably you play not enough games and don't analyse them.
