problems with sound when starting a new game

Hello! Since this morning i ́m having problems with the sound. No sound until i make the first move. So if i am waiting for a game to start, the game does NOT notify me with the tipical sound that the game is going to start. So when playing tournaments i have to be looking at the screen to not miss a game. Anybody is facing same problems?
thank you

No. So, you feel threatened?

Ok. The problem is resolved. Firefox was causing this problem since it got updated recently. It was blocking audio and video automatically, so i have change permissions to allow and now is working fine the sound.
Thanks anyway!

I'm having this same problem. No starting game sound on Firefox until I move a piece, so essentially, no starting game sound at all to warn me when I get seated in a tournament.

I'm on the latest version of Firefox, so I can't upgrade to fix it. Please help!

It's really distracting and annoying, I think Firefox is blocking sound until you interact with the page, due to their insabe media policy bug "feature".

Hello! Its very easy, but my settings is in spanish so i ́ll try to help you since english is not my language.

First step: Go to lichess.org
Second step: Click on the padlock-- secure conection-- more information
3 step: Click on permissions
4 step: Search for automatic play, or auto play or something similar. In spanish is " reproducción automática".
5 step: click on allow audio and video.

Thank you for updating your post with the cause and how to fix it, I had the same issue with Firefox and enabling auto play audio/video for Lichess fixed the issue for me.
