Please suggest a FREE database/Static Book, I want to put it in my Chess Base READER

I want to put a database in my ChessBase Reader as there is no database in it, since it is a READER
In the Openings Book window, it tells Load Static Book, (in CTG format)
I am unable to find one, so please help, Thanks

You can go to " This week in Chess " website and download their free weekly databases in both PGN and CBV (chessbase compress) formats. https://theweekinchess.com/twic. However an Opening Book is different than a database. A database is a collection of games. An Opening Book is shows the branching out of the variations from a particular opening similar to a tree. If your database has many games with the same opening you should be able to create an Opening Book by merging them. Or your can by one.

I would not recommend using Chessbase Reader. Either you pay for Chessbase15 or go for one of the free alternatives like Scid vs PC etc. If you do a bit of digging around in the internet you can come with a database for free, I am sure.

just googling gtg opening book gave at least:

seems to want browser notifications acceptance so maybe not that one. Stockfish development site probably has more recent one anyway.
