how do you get to play really low grade ranked players ?.. i never get them?.. is it the algorthm that trys to keep competativeness? and if so .. how come when i look at some players ranked like myself how often they lose to really low ranked players ?.. conundrum ! please explain .. smiles .. does it take being challenged ? why would they keep losing to such beginners?. .is this a thing ?!
You are matched with people of similar rankings. So your rank must be low to play against lower-ranked players. I don't think matchmaking is meant to win every game each time, but in general, winning the majority of your games will rank you up. A rank 500 vs a rank 1500, should lose most of the matches played, which is why the 1500 ranking will not gain many Elo points for a win and a lot of Elo points are lost if they lose.
A rank 1500 will have a hard time finding a match against a rank 500 unless it is sought out. To be a fun competitive game for each player the system will put you against ranks close to your own.

I was "Undercover" for about 6 Months playing UNRATED with the given 1500 Rating ... Playing players rated from 1000 - 2000 . I scored 97.67 percent with 94 Losses 47 draws outta 5000 games played Just to test ELO Arapad's Rating Predictions >>> ALL 5 min I'm now 2404 Blitz with a high of 2419
