I wanted to hide viewers during a game and I love the lichess design but sometimes it is a little to bright for me
Some users like @Funkmaus told me they sometimes got distracted by messages during matches

So I made this pure CSS today (you are all free to use or edit it) that hopefully helps with those minor issues
If you want to use it you need the browser extension called "Stylus" make a new style for lichess.org and copypaste this

Made all white surfaces around the board slightly darker so you can focus easier on the board
Orange color is black
Making some things invisible that might be distracting like viewers, some buttons or notifications
Made blunders and mistakes much more visibible in analysis board (red color)

The background is cool but it hides other users' 'activity' and your own...

@Tae7 you can simply delete the line and only keep the background color if you only want that part. If you need help editing it you can msg me and I can tell you what to delete :)

I am always distracted by something during matches and it is my personal problem :0
I think I can only "focus" in ultra :-)
But I was not complaining to you about it; sorry if you felt this way as I told you that I got flagged because of you sending me tells in private chat.
Actually there are privacy lichess-settings which could fix it all (zen mode/turn-off game chat/no messages/no challenges/no sounds)
But to me, playing and not seeing this all this feels just a little bit boring :0

I am not installing it; programmer-stuff scares me as I have no clue about it and could just mess-up the browser. Lichess is a great site, I like the browser the way it is. :-)

Hey there, did you know that in Club matches people stand around boards viewing games and that is nothing new, so whats this thread about?

Didn't check the CSS. What is the advantage compared to Zen-Mode?

@Neustart Zen-Mode completely blocks all social interaction, my CSS does not, you can still chat and see your opponent - it just makes it visually less stand out and you can switch a lot faster between "zen" and "not zen" without having lichess to do anything because it is client sided. Also I added color in the analyse board to analyse games faster and find out the key mistakes. Just try it out if you want to, you don't need to tho.

@PaulTYLR There is literally no reason to dislike an explanation someone asked for... why are you hating bro, nobody forces you to use it. Also you can't compare this to OTB, I got your point and I politely disagree with you and will not further discuss it.
