@drmrboss how dare you call my considered opinions and experiences shared, trolling. If you are going to post on a topic about my 1400 elo chess coach about me trolling and not see the irony of that then my general point about Lichess forum not being a place for free discussion is well and truly made.

You might already know that the average rating in this site is 1500. So 1400 rated people are below 50% percentile or play worse than average. Now question whether 1400 should be a coach.

Yes 2200 at least as chess is a complete arsenal of skills and the teacher needs to be very comfortable, knowledgeable in all areas of the game,
(more than 50...) example the transition from opening to middlegame... further thoughts other day.
