Just discovered that the lowest possible puzzle rating is 400.

Check it out for yourself. Fail all your puzzles. If you want to speed run it, just set the difficulty level to "easy" and press view solution many times.

or, instead of sandbagging, you could simply understand that puzzle ratings work the same as game ratings, and the floor for those is 400 as can easily be seen by going to e.g. https://lichess.org/stat/rating/distribution/blitz
or you could check in the source code: https://github.com/lichess-org/lila/blob/master/modules/rating/src/main/Glicko.scala#L52

really, any option is better than failing puzzles on purpose and fucking up puzzle ratings for everyone. and then even going to the forums and encouraging other people to do so as well! kids these days, really.

Glbert gave a clear explanation on this, puzzles work the same as games, failing a puzzle is treated the same as losing a game and passing is the same as winning.
