I'd say about 3200 moves is possible, but I may be wrong

Id say around 10e6

My longest tournament over the board game was against an FM & was drawn after 171 moves . I had King & Rook & he had King Knight & two connected passed pawns @ContrabassFlute > Ofcourse the longest possible is different but those 11 hours were long back then with an adjournment' and all it felt like the longest game possible but I liked it @ContrabassFlute

Longest engine game I've seen is a two pawn odds games between Stockfish and Berserk that went on for 467 moves.
I've uploaded it, but it's too long for lichess. Here are the first 300 moves:

From there it's just more 50 move rule stalling.
