This is a list of chess applications that I personally use and recommend.

These are useful programs.

These are useful programs. - http://scid.sourceforge.net/ A great database program with a database. - http://scidvspc.sourceforge.net/ An updated version. - http://innokuo.altervista.org/chesshero.html A tactics trainer that allows you to change various elements with sample PGNs. (This is a problem with the "pick a random position" feature.)
