Limit of aborted games

It's no fair play.....
People joined to games and next abort it,
Every user has an information before start, what variant of chess it is,with short instruction about rules,
I am in frustration because many people abort my games,
Don't be rude,stop it,
To moderators, I have proposition to introduced limit of aborted games with red cards or automaticaly allert for bad behavior

I honestly haven't found this to be a problem. people do click on the wrong game and the like, so the abort feature does have a use. i could see something like a guideline not to about more then so many times, but the problem of enforcement is that there is no way to know why a player aborted. for the record, i do agree that one should not abort regularly.

Putting aside the fact that the abort function has broad and legitimate uses, a man named "steger" made a very good point in a thread about "rude behavior", that I think applies here.

He said, as I recall, that "there is no reasonable way for moderators to legislate morality"

There's a difference between cheating (or "illegal" activities) and poor character or childish behavior.

It is not a problem for me either. I play mostly one minute games and I need the abort function for when people accept game and do not move. Most of the time everything goes smoothly.

Yes,I think that is different between childish behavior and cheating but this type of behavior is rudeness for other,
problem is.....and must be solved,The ways probably would not be difficult,
Lichess is one big community, rules are important because
if people understand them,it is easier for them to understand themselves and inhibit them from the absence of such subordination like no sense "abort" and "abort","abort game".....
It's acceptance for bad behavior,
We're looking for good solution about it,
Big brother says:
"Be honest for Your opponent, don't abort this game",
three times,
Next,We've resolving the issue of non-application of this rule,
One day,one week with red card-Playing only as Anonymous, would be instructive effectively for childish behavior

the problem that comes up immediately is that we have no way to apply that rule to anonymous users. looking at your games i nonetheless find it odd how many aborts you got. the simple solution would be for you to warn and block players who regularly abort.

The only "solution" I can see that could be implemented in terms of code to attempt a relief from this headache is to implement a notification system that guides players toward proper sportsmanship.

For instance, if you abort or abandon (time out before x moves) three games in a certain period of time (maybe an hour) perhaps a message could be displayed. Something like, "You have abandoned three games in the last x minutes. Some players may find this behavior offensive. Please see <link to a help page on how to filter games> for help on this subject."

I don't know how well it would work, but it might at least make some players realize that constantly aborting games or abandoning them for another without aborting their first game annoys people.

@rzenaikrzys
Just block these players.

But by the way i abort games quickly if the opponent needs to much time for his first move. If i hav to wait 10-15 seconds for a 2 minute game that is boring. And thats for what i use the abort function.

And like you said, if i search 960 or Atomic and get a opponent who can not read seeks, then he receives a block from me and i nevermore get any problems with this user. There a enough people left who wants to play.
