light / dark square weaknesses

I would prefer books over videos. And it all comes by experience after all. One has to understand the weakness themselves.

I wondering if someone knows a good source that starts with the basic and provides an in depth discussion on the topic.

Try this study:

and this game collection: https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chesscollection?cid=1002011

@CaseyReese Wow, the study and the collection are amazing! I have not finished going through the study yet, but I can see there is a ton of useful material in it. Can't wait to look at the collections in detail. Thank you so much!!

I love Peter Gionnatos videos from the Charlotte Chess Center. I think their channel is criminally underrated.

Michael Stean has a chapter on attacking color complexes in "Simple Chess". ...
"... [Simple Chess by GM Stean] will definitely help players in the general rating range of 1300-2000 with their positional play and strategic thinking. ..."
