lichess ratings are obviously higher - but generally how much? My ratings on this site seem to be about 400 higher than on chess.com, is that typical?
See chessratingcomparisons.com. The typical difference should be around 300, reflecting the difference in initial rating for new players (1500 here vs. 1200 on chess.com).
I'm about 1600 rapid here and 1400 chess.com
Different rating systems, different numbers. Comparing them is like comparing apples to bananas, doesn't make much sense.

im 1900 lichess 1600 chess.com so yeah 300 normal
mine used to be 250 points lower there. (barely 1800 there, here 2050)
Obviously players are better here, since they are higher rated :D
Play both site, chess..com players r better technically but lichess players way good at tactical...pro and cons...
