In case you want to appeal, the concerned account should do it at the appeal page.
And if you are talking about banning because of cheating, then it's not moderator work rather it is by cheat detection system of server.

@OkeSan I see a couple of games where you resigned after just a few moves when you weren't losing, and that can be a reason for a mark and probably is.

However it's one of those that if you agree to stop doing it they can remove the mark (unlike engine use where the ban is irreversible).
