The combination starts with 15. d5, which seems to be a novelty (at least in Lichess).

Some other interesting variations:

  1. ... exd5 16. Qxe7 Rde8 (or 16. ... Rfe8; both trap the queen, neither avoids a worse position) 17. Bxf6 Rxe7 (17. ... gxf6 18. Qxe8) 18. Bxe7 with a rook and two minor pieces for a queen (Black has no time to defend the pawn d5).

[15. ... Nxd5 16. Rxd5] 16. ... Bxg5 17. Rxg5 with a knight for a pawn.

[15. ... Nxd5 16. Rxd5 exd5 17. Bxe7] 17. ... Rfe8 18. Bxd8 Rxe2 (or 18. ... Rxd8 and Black is "just" down a knight) 19. Bxc7 Rxe1+ 20. Nxe1 with two minor pieces for a pawn.
