Karpov or Kasparov

I believe it was Korchnoi who said that "Karpov's mind is very precise, like a fish." He also claimed that Karpov lacked creativity, and when you look at his repertoire, I tend to agree.

I greatly prefer Kasparov's playing style. He was not afraid to try novelties or to resurrect old, supposedly "dead" theoretical lines (like the Scotch, for example) and find something new. Not to mention, his "frail health" was never used as an excuse to stop a WC match in progress.

Kasparov FTW. It's not even a question.

I feel that kasparov and karpov are very strong players before 2000 they were the ones who were winning championship . And kasparov was little stronger than karpov because he stole the world champion title in 1985 and then ten years kasparov was word champion 1996 karpov stole the title he was champion until 1999 then Vishwanathan Annand conquered the title
My pick kasparov

stole .... such a strong and even harsh word to describe winning the crown ,
esp when you then say anand conquered it
mind you i guess its the only way id get the crown so it might be the right term but it seems misplaced ,
