I usually set up a real board to play along with the online game because I don't see the moves well on a screen. Is that considered cheating?

I don't think it does. But, Ill recommend you get used to online 2D chess. Its the future. Also, if you have time trouble then you won't get time to set up the physical board.

It can be cheating if anyone just takes their queen without capturing

I don't think its cheating if u use a real board to for analysis of your correspondence games. If I'm not mistaken lichess even offers an analysis board. If you are using it for blitz then the only person suffering here is you :)

I use a board for classical and long rapid. But I also force tournament conditions. If you don't force tournament conditions then ya I believe it's cheating.

it will only be considered as cheating when you use computer analyses.

It is not mentioned in Lichesd the term if service.
This is more a fair play issue. If you don't move the pieces to analyse the position, I don't see the problem.
I am myself considering it for my classical games to get a better real board vision.

If you start moving pieces and see "what happens if I play this and he plays that", that's indeed cheating - You should do all the calculations in your head.
If you just mirror what is on screen like you say, it looks OK to me, but I'm not making the rules in lichess.

I don't think it's cheating at all, on the contrary: it's a disadvantage. In rapid games particularly, moving is slower when a real board is involved in the process. I don't think it's cheating even if you move the pieces around, after all it's still your own brain only that's in use. Besides, doing that will result in slower improvement. So, again, it's at one's own disadvantage.
And if one doesn't move the pieces around... well, Lichess just started supporting DGT boards, what about that, then?
I myself am thinking to get a DGT board because I'm realizing that I'm getting used to the board on the screen to the point that I'm having difficulty at seeing moves on a real board. I don't like that at all, I want to be able to play at my best with players in presence.
