Is there any decent chess apps for android?

I just moved from iphone and I am not impressed with the quality of chess apps available on android. So many terrible ones full of ads, please recommend ones that you have kept on your phone. I bought Shredder. That app is awesome.

Android is much better for chess then iphone.
One reason is droidfish.
Droidfish is awesome and open source like Lichess.

I'm also enjoying Acid Ape Chess, although the UI can be a little confusing at first.

edit: I should also point out that you can play on lichess within the Acid Ape Chess app.

Acid ape looks cool. I downloaded Scid but how do I get the database? Also what's the difference between playing lichess on acid ape instead of the lichess app?

It's probably a disadvantage to play lichess on the Acid Ape app, as you lose the lichess-specific features of the lichess app. I just thought I'd mention it, as an example of the commendable effort that has gone into the Acid Ape app.

The lichess app definitely wins for lichess games.
