I'm constantly given 2100 level puzzles, only because I can solve them half the time if I think about them a few minutes. I'd rather get a higher solve rate after 30 seconds. Is there a way I can set it to only give me 1400-1800?

Also, often I guess the correct first move of a 10 move checkmate, and the puzzle says I'm correct and credits me the completion. If I ask to see the solution, it only shows me the 1 move. I use Stockfish to find that it is mate in 10.
I guess I could just click show solution each time I'm not 100% sure, and let the ratings come down to my level that way. Also puzzle rush/storm.

Yes you can adjust the difficulty level. Just look on the puzzle page for the drop down menu.
For the second problem there’s no workaround except not guessing the first move.

One possibilty would be to always force yourself to make a choice in 30 seconds (or whatever you want). At first presumably you have a lot of misses but eventually things should settle to a level that "fits" you for that time limit.

I just did streak. I probably mispelled that. I did at least 25 puzzles, solved the 1699 and did not punish Black hard enough in the 1707. I won 2 minor pieces for a rook but missed an extra capture that would have netted a minor piece.
I found all puzzles worthwhile except maybe the first few. 1300 is good target practice, 1450 starts making me think a bit longer, and 1700 has serious chances of tricking me. None left me wonder why the solution is correct. And none took more than a minute or so to solve.
Interesting that 1700 is also my rapid rating.
My 2100 tactics rating is definitely inflated. I'll be clicking show solution until it comes down.

I bet most puzzles are underrated due to guessing. Speedsters likely cancel the long thinkers, but guessing brings down the puzzle rating.

The 2100 puzzles declare victory way before it is realized. This makes it easy for someone to think they solved it, get the first few moves right, and then get passed before seeing all the countermeasures the other side has. I need to cap the ratings.
