When completing puzzles is their a way to determine what the rating of a puzzle like it shows on Chess.com?
Similarly, are you penalized or given extra points for completing them quickly?
Thanks,
The new guy here :)

@GregCheckmates welcome to Lichess.
look at your profile https://lichess.org/@/gregcheckmates you'll see a puzzle rating on the lefthand side
Also look at Puzzle Dashboard it gives your Puzzle rating detail breakdown. https://lichess.org/training/dashboard/30/dashboard

@michuk Thank you for your response and welcome. I sincerely appreciate it!
It seems like the puzzle rating on the lefthand side is my puzzle rating and not the rating of an individual puzzle.
I see the breakdown but again, not a rating for any individual puzzle.
Am I overlooking something or is the rating for a specific puzzle kept private?
It's okay if so, I'm just trying to understand as I'm used to a different platform that has it.

I think sometimes they hide rating so you cannot use it as an indicator. So you look 5min for a mate but then it’s just a trade trade trade and your up 2 pawns
If rating is hidden it will state that specifically. Also you get puzzles close to your rating

I don't think the rating of a puzzle is an indicator of it's solution. Perhaps this is just my opinion though.

Hi @GregCheckmates great to have you as a member of Lichess.
There are two Puzzle areas Puzzles and Puzzle games (like Puzzle Storm, Puzzle Racer, Puzzle Streak).
In the Puzzle games solving mode the puzzle rating of the puzzle is hidden, it in my opinion it does help me to know if the puzzle is like 1500 elo vs 2200 elo, I then know to look deeper in higher rated puzzles, but the help is marginal in the most part.
The Puzzles area has puzzles with ratings shown and you can select the specific theme or have it mixed.

@GregCheckmates I play almost entirely on my phone, and I've only ever been able to see the individual puzzle ratings AFTER I've solved them or given up and pressed the view solution button. The rating is always hidden until its solved. (Unless there's a setting for that somewhere that you can change IDK). Not sure if its different on a desk top computer or not.
