I was searching for some JavaScript engines on duckduckgo.com and then I just found StockFish 10 wow. Then I was playing some games against it to test its strength, and then I one game I had beaten it (it was used to move basically instantly)
This is the game. I am playing whites and Stockfish is playing in the maximum level (20).

But here is the deal: I am wanting to make a chess engine and I was recommended to make it in programming languages like C,C++,Rust, and Python, and to be sincere that may be truth, because the simple fact an engine in JavaScript to me seems an indicator low level languages may be better for an engine. We have also to consider the engine was being played in a f*cking browser, and also that making it thinking a little more may make it strong in a decent level.
For your first engine, I recommend whatever language you are most comfortable with. Javascript is a bit slower, but at beginner levels that speed difference won't be very significant. Being able to write correct code and debug it will be much more important.
