Just download the newest stockfish that runs on your computer. Which one that is depends on your computer. Is it a Windows machine? Is it a Mac? Also, processor type may make a difference (especially on Mac - older ones still running on Intel, newer ones on ARM-based "M" chips by Apple).

Then one easy way is to use homebrew: https://brew.sh/

If you don't know homebrew, it is a broadly used package manager (kind of) for Mac.

After running the installation line shown in the terminal, you do "brew install stockfish" and that's basically it. In Shredder you then create a new engine and pick the installed engine.
