I've been enjoying correspondence games and can easily meet a one day limit. Even five days seems okay. But if you accept a no-time -limit rated game, won't you tend to meet opponents who just disappear rather than finish a game?

Yes - I tried one infinite game and the opponent just stopped playing - maybe something in real-life - had not logged in for about a month. I resigned the game just so it would go away - I don't think the site should have them - make it 15 or 30 days a move if you want - at least it would timeout eventually.

I have had that happen before.
#2, there is a limit. If no one moves within a month, it is a draw.

"If no one moves within a month, it is a draw."
No, actually the non-moving side loses ...
Infinite games should rather be called "30days/move", to avoid misunderstandings.

Thanks for the answers. Good to know 30 days is the real limit.

Just be sure you are the one that's moving! ;)
