Back when I was less than 1000 strength, in high school, I played 17 moves against my brother before announcing I could no longer remember enough of the board. I knew 95% of the locations today at move 27, but I knew the position was lost, and I could I was bothered that I did not know where the bishop that took my queen came from. I forgot it was on d6. Since I did not know that, I wondered if there were other locations I did not know. Turns out I knew the rest of the locations fine and should have played on. I may have forgotten I only had 1 rook left though, but that was after 10 minutes away from the game.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to do more than 1 board at the same time. But I hope so. That would be a much better party trick than just 1 board.

0-0 works, or did for me. e4 needs to be lower case of course.

I'm in the sauna and about to start game 2.
25 minutes later, Im out of the sauna after playing, as white, : 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 dxe4 4. Nxe4 Bf5 5. Ng3 e6 6. Nxf5 exf5 7. Nf3 Qe7+ 8. Be2 h6 9. 0-0 Nf6 10. Re1 Ne4 11. Bc4 g5 12. d5 Qc5 13. Qe2 cxd5 14. Bd3 Bd6 15. Bxe4 dxe4 16. Rd1 Nc6 17. Ne1 Qe5 18. Rxd6 Qxd6 19. f3 Nd4 20. Qf2 O-O-O 21. fxe4 Rhe8 22. Be3 f4 23. Bxd4 Qxd4
I did not remember if I still had my king bishop, or if black still had the king knight, so I decided to view position. I also was planning to play Qxa7 but forgot to calculate whether the black queen was in the way. I forgot I had an e pawn.

5 minutes after viewing position, I now remember trading both bishops for both knights, and taking the e4 pawn with my f pawn. Maybe I should not have given up. Today at the club will be interesting. I did not feel like I was taking a minute per move, but looks like I was.
If I were to continue, I'd trade queens, develop, and let my e pawn fall. The game is kinda last but still winnable against weaker players.

Here is the analysed game. Level 1 made more mistakes this time, hence why I survived better.

There is a huge error in the study. I traded my rook for the bishop on d6 before playing f3. I don't see how I can edit or delete the study.
I did not miss mate in 1. I don't want people looking at my studies thinking I'd do that even blindfolded.
95% of the moves I played are about what I would play sighted. The few times I forget piece locations often don't hurt my analysis any more than when sighted.
As for stockfish, it is too powerful to be useful. Instead of finding 2 move tactics club players can use on each other, it finds 7 move tactics and says we blundered 7 moves beforehand, and does not mark moves before the loss of material as mistakes since stockfish can win it regardless even if we postpone it another 4 moves.
