go in preferences, game behavior scroll down you will see "input moves with keyboard" it will be no. change it to yes and in your games option will come below board

It's simple go to https://lichess.org/account/preferences/game-behavior and down u will get an option to Input moves with the keyboard and click yes. Then refresh the page. Done!

write down the coordinates for the square you want to move ur piece to

just enter the notation.
there used to be a feature where instead of typing the moves, you could use a certain letter for the piece.
