I say you should come to your senses and either understand why you aren't winning or you can just throw your laptop out the window. @Timirka_124

I want to quit playing chess, because I dont enjoy playing it, but also I cant stop playing it. After playing I fill empty and frustrated, but i also come back again and again. Maybe just making this post will help me or maybe your advice will help me.

Find another hobby such as playing a musical instrument. Something that isn’t inherently competitive. I feel like too much chess can be a bad thing. Perhaps you just need some more balance in your life. If all you do is play chess, and you aren’t happy with how you’re playing, it is easy for this to start to negatively impact your self esteem/self worth because it has become too big of a part of your identity. It is important to consciously avoid attaching your self worth to your rating. Just remember that you’re special, that life is beautiful, and you deserve to be happy. You owe it to yourself to find that happiness.
