How to "PROPERLY" report a cheater.

Since chess is by far my most favourite game, and lichess is my most favourite site, I think it is my "DUTY" to clean this superb site from the cheaters. So far, I have reported so many accounts on lichess, successfully. So here, I am sharing a couple of my technics to report a cheater --

[ Using Chess Computer Assistance during the game ]

Analysis:

Having low on the clock [1:01] in a Rapid game, he took 39 sec to find a move which is quite obvious [Move number X] lichess.org/SOME_GAME#89 [7-0-1]

Previous record: [ Inaccuracy - Mistake - Blunder ]
Here a few "flawless" games...
lichess.org/SOME_GAME1 [2-0-0] vs 2036 rated player [47 moves]
lichess.org/SOME_GAME2 [1-0-0]
lichess.org/SOME_GAME3 [5-1-0]

Pattern:

  1. All of the games are either long-duration (eg, 11+0 etc ) or Incremental.
  2. Equal-move time
  3. Abnormal move time in the obvious and only-move position.

N.B: Account created on 3rd December 2020. So there isn't a large number of games for thorough analysis.

Verdict:
Indication of Chess-computer assistance.

Also, if you are low on time you can report like this...

lichess.org/SOME_GAME0 [ 0 inaccuracy - 0 mistake - 0 blunder ]

Consistent 0 mistake 0 blunder games as following.

  1. lichess.org/SOME_GAME1 [ 0-0-0 ], 37 moves
  2. lichess.org/SOME_GAME2 [4-0-0], 31 moves
  3. lichess.org/SOME_GAME3 [2-0-0], 22 moves
  4. lichess.org/SOME_GAME4 [2-0-0], 26 moves
  5. lichess.org/SOME_GAME5 [4-0-0], 31 moves

Rapid Rating: 2507 (Deviation 202.78), 6 rated games
Blitz Rating: 1848 (Deviation 45.02) 868 rated games
Performance Rating in the tournament lichess.org/swiss/TOUR1 : 2515 with an avg opponent rating 2015.

Indication of Computer Assistance

If you send your reason like this, I think, the job will be much easier for the moderator to keep the site clean and uphold the spirit of the game.

I dont think Lichess actually cares about cheaters.

They have banned all the cheaters I have reported so far. I think you should report a player after confirming through your thorough research. Then only, you should make such a statement against lichess.

Another good indicator, but not always working:

Compare the overall win loose ratio with the win-ratio of the last days. Once I found someone with a rating of 1600, who had a 50:50 win/loose ratio, but somehow he won over 40 blitzgames in a row in two days.

Nowadays he is only doing puzzles with his cheataccount or playing other cheaters xD

Edit: If course you must also check, whether he played against strong opponents and use the Computeranalysis. I don't think an average player can play five out of six perfect games against opponents with a similar rating

Also look at time used per move. A flat curve is suspicious.
