how to prevent the end of the online chess game due to cheating?

how to prevent the end of the online chess game due to cheating?

I love this site, very well done, and moreover free which is incredible considering the level of quality.

but right now I'm desperate and I'm probably going to stop playing it : I practically meet more cheaters than human players.

tonight for example, 5 games. 3 abandoned when the opponent takes more than 10 seconds to play his first move. (now I do this systematically and the profile review confirms me in 99% of the cases that I am dealing with a cheater) 1 normal (which I lost, normal opponent profile and game too)
and one where cheating is obvious (suspicion in the analysis of the game, confirmed by the examination of the profile)

and I see this almost every time I visit...

I can imagine that it must be very difficult to fight effectively against that, especially for a free site. But if we don't find a solution, we won't be able to play online any more, we might as well play against uor own module at home...

I don't have any computer knowledge, but I can already see an obvious path, the examination of profiles: all those that I consider as cheaters present incredible elo level evolutions, as well as significant differences in results at different cadences.

Perhaps it would be possible for players with this type of profile to receive a "cheat suspicion warning". Perhaps this simple warning could change the behavior of some people?

Exactly! Looking for suspicious rating evolution would be one of the best ways.

It is great that someone finally has found a simple and reliable formula to detect cheaters.

@MercuryTrismegistus

you're misinformed, it's not just in my head ... watch the chess.com article about this topic
(https://www.chess.com/fr/article/view/tout-savoir-sur-la-tricherie-sur-internet-echecs)
For the evolution of the elo, I speak of several hundred points in a few months

@sheckley666

I hope you understood my point better than that.
Proving it is impossible of course, I just hope that a warning decreases a little the feeling of impunity...

@Alzheimerhead

thank you... and we can imagine how cheaters are honest in front of this type of questions...

Dear @victorchess30
You have absolutely no evidence that cheating is almost a norm here except your wild speculation.
You are taking away the enjoyment of the game with this harmful paranoia, you ruin the whole fun for yourself.
If you suspect someone is cheating, report them, block them and move on to play another game with the next friendly honest person.
People who cheat need educating. Getting angry at them often satisfies the attention they seek. Please dont let sick people, "wanna-be-grandmasters" control your emotions.

If there is absolutely no solution and you cant stop suspecting everyone, try personal challenges against your friends or against people you can trust. It seems like you made up your mind and have your own patterns to spot them...
Wishing you happy chessing and all best :-)

@ Funkmaus

thank you very much for your message, full of wisdom.

the problem is that I dream of a world where I can spend more time playing chess than reporting / blocking cheaters.
which seems more and more like utopia.
