How to play three check?

I know the rules
Any opening suggestion and how to defend difficult positions?
Even the easiest of position seems difficult to me

Sometimes I feel like the guy in the middle here...

e4 is the best move because you open lines and to defend best is to move the king where less checks are

#2 how can I locate those places?

Place you king safely, behind pawns, don#t let oponents pieces near your king. You should find a balance beteween defence and attacking. You simply can't protect your king during a whole game without any counterplay. So try to attack yourself, be patient if your oponent find a way to defend himself. But keep him busy, create threads by yourself. If you can find moves that save your own king and by the same time create own threads then those moves often win the game.

Look at this - kind of a trap. After taking on e6 i think white thought he would win the game. Before you give much material for checks look that you mangage to check three times. If you give up much material maybe there is no stuff left to give the third check. But i am sure you find better stuff here. There are groups reagarding 3check.

Though I am not very experienced in this variant, I would try to get some feeling for how valuable a check is. Here are some basic rules of thumb that I tried to come up with, though I would be interested in input from stronger players:

  1. Is it worth it to give a pawn for a check? Usually yes
  2. Is it worth it to give a piece for 2 checks? Usually yes
  3. Is it worth it to give a piece for 1 check? As first check: Sometimes, typically not in a closed position but yes if you can keep the initiative or the opponents king is already weak. As second check: Usually yes, especially if you still have a queen or other easy ways to give check.
  4. Is it worth it to give a Queen for 1 check? As first check: Usually not. As second check: Still usually not unless you have a clear path to victory
  5. Is it worth it to give a Queen for 2 checks? Maybe, had some interesting games from both sides with results in either direction
