I have been stuck around 1800 on this account and my other account for a long time. I study and do puzzles, but I don't seem to improve. Can someone tell me how to improve in chess and get a better rating, and beat the higher rating people????
Just curious... Roughly how many blunders do you do per game on average when playing similarly rated, or higher rated players?

I study and do puzzles.
Do you study what you already know and puzzles to maintain the level? OR
Do you study something you dont know and do puzzles on that topic to get good at it, then repeating it on other unknown topic?
The first method is kinda useless to improve. It only maintains your level.
The second one is the one you are looking for.

It doesnt matter. You arent learning new topics, you wont learn new avenues and options.
Its like playing the same guitar song over and over again. You cant practice new chords, no new riffs, no new strumming patterns. How can you play a harder song if you dont have the pre requisites for it?
By learning new topics, say 2. You have 3 more options (because you can combine knowledge).
Thats how you will get better and beat opponents, you just know more about the game.

Just curious... Roughly how many blunders do you do per game on average when playing similarly rated, or higher rated players?
Around like 3-4
