How to get started with FIDE?

I've been knowing it since I got to knew about chess but still do not know how to participate in it....... Means I want to ask that how to get started with FIDE means having FIDE ID and how to participate in their tournaments.....?

you can check where they are organising FIDE rated events. Once you play some fide tournaments, you will get a fide ID and a fide rating.

I don't know, I never played any FIDE tourneys.

For FIDE tournaments you need a FIDE ID. Ask your local chess club how to get it. Most will do the paperwork for you, but I also heard from players who need to get it themselves. Every FIDE tournament I played in had a participation fee ranging from 10€ - 100€
