These kinds of threads don't really add up to much.
Those players are better than you. So how do you beat them? By getting better than them.
Sounds simple, right? And indeed it is, on paper (or in the forums). Now you just have to get out there and do it. ;)

@The_Loyal_Knight
First think someone lower rated than you is asking the same question to you. How would you answer that guy?
No offense but your rating is 1400 odd and you first need to beat 1500s, 1600s, 1700s, 1800s before 2000+.
Don't get too high. Do it step by step and you will improve.
'Rather than focusing on others weakness, focus on your strengths'
If you don't have siginifcant strengths then it's best to make strengths by doing thematic puzzles a lot to understand where you actually lack and you can see all the personal progress from puzzle dashboard section.
Mastering all puzzles at Lichess are enough to become as strong as 2400.
Best wishes!

@Akbar2thegreat Oh no no no you are getting it completely wrong. An Expert player (In Fide it is 2000+, in lichess about 2200+, but it's just an estimated value as we only play fast time controls here) is not just a player who can do more tactics. There is a lot, lot more into it. For example positional understanding. Have you ever seen Top GM's commentating? They say things like "In such positions it is very normal to play h4, with a simple plan then to play h5 locking structure and rerouting the knight from f3-h2-g4 and so on and so on". They can sense every position in a matter of seconds and just know what to do. Okay, a Super GM is a bit of an exaggerated example, but also "normal" expert players (2000+ Fide) tend to sense positions quite quickly. Whereas weaker players try to calculate different lines, advanced players tend to see the bigger picture. Key difference is: The amateur player has a short term thinking, the advanced player has a long term thinking. You can't become an expert just by solving tactics. Deep understanding of a position is a key to it. Of course a Pro player practices tactics and endgame and improves calculation skills, but a deep understanding of any position is a key to it. Only calculation and tactics leads to nothing, as well as only strategy without calculation and tactics. You need to be an allrounder, that's it.

How to Defeat 2000-2100. PLs tell me i get defeated all the time.
My blitz rating isn’t there but my rapid and classical are, and I can say that we aren’t all the same. There isnt a single strategy to defeat all of us, besides simply being a better chess player. We are people, each one of us with our own unique blend of strengths, weaknesses, and preferences. You are looking for some secret recipe to defeat 2000-2100 players, but it just doesn’t exist. Your only path forward is to slowly become a better chess player yourself until you get there.
