Also it's helpful to play in the incognito mode. All extensions are disabled, and cache isn't saved.

I can tell you how to accelerate your PC in bullet games.

From my personal experience, you can speed up the site by disabling unnecessary scripts. Page will load faster, and pieces will run smoother, without graphics lags, and even reduce some internet lag.
Here is a solution:
on Firefox install add-on Privacy Badger or NoScript or any other that can perform scripts control. Then disable all scripts except lichess.org and lichess1.org.

You have to block all bullshit like
cdnjs.cloudflare.com
fonts.googleapis.com
cdn.jsdelivr.net
www.google-analytics.com
google.com
d27t3nufpewl0w.cloudfront.net
fonts.gstatic.com
and all others.

Only lichess.org and lichess1.org scripts should be allowed, they are actual chess scripts.
Others only are trackers, online fonts, etc. they are not important and they only slow down your PC. Lichess works much better when they are blocked.

Do this trick, and you will get extra time advantage in bullet.
