It never ceases to amaze me how extremely weak players (bullet or otherwise) love to confidently assert their opinion of what it takes to do well in bullet when they haven't been able to do so themselves. It's like a homeless man giving financial advice.
Most of bullet is just playing good chess. The "tricks" maybe add 50-100 Elo, like using (and defending against "hanging zingers"), etc. Aggressive premove is highly overrated and will likely cost most players more games than they win, due to "premove-error". I rarely premove when it could turn out to be a bad move unless I've really locked into my opponent's rhythm or unless in draconian time-trouble.
