There is no cheating on Lichess? When you using a engine then you are cheating!
Everyone want higher ratings as possible, and try to win some "respec and honor"..that's the meaning! Why cheating at all? because losers wants to be winners, that's why!
Chess is not all about win and lose, chess is all about knowledge, science and art. That's why ppl solving puzzles, and playing chess. The higher puzzlerating the higher iq, in general, just like the playerratings and Fide rating. To be a GM or supergrandmaster, you and me can't as an statepoint. You cant't read and read to eventually become a GM. YOu must have a naturtalent and be smart in general. Puzzle ratings indicates smartness. But example a FM player can about have about the same knowledge as me but the are exactly a FM beacuse the player is so brilliant when he/she plays over the board. They have better mentality, stamina and so on, so gain gain more and more ratingpoints because all of this elements.
Mental stamina is definitely my achilles heel in chess...I never do rematch because I am simply too tired! my opponents get offended, too bad!

I mean, in general ppl. do much cares about the openings. Openings doesn't mean anything or very much.
I can play sicilian and i will lose, i can play caro and i will lose. i can transpose in to this and this and i will lose. I only lose beause im playing against a opponent who know what to do and are comfortable with those lines and patterns. I lose because my dayform is not so well, i lose beacuse of not so good mentality. Im losing because im not comfortable, are nervous, confident, slow, on so on. Ttitled players have become titled players because they have been more dedicated to the game, have better plans, better endgame...and have margins on they're side.
So this examples of elements decides if you are a good player over the board or not. But when its come to puzzles it's pure brain in general. Just like the differences in standard chess and 960. There is no theory and stuff like that in fischer random...the best creastive player and biggest brain in that game wins the match. Simple as that.
