chess.com has more pretty graphics and bright colours........it is the gayer site for sure
All I can say is Lichess and Che$$com........
chess.com has all the numbers, but it is Lichess that is the biggest chess sponsor in the world.
If I want a retro experience I go with che$$.com. It reminds me of the defunct yahoo chess with the green interface, annoying popups, and large pool of cheaters.
I just checked my rapid rating percentile on both sites. On Lichess, I'm in the 78 percentile. On Chess dot crash, I'm in the 94 percentile. So, the Lichess users are objectively better. You guys are awesome!

Well, Lichess is the 8th result when Googling "chess", while chess.com is the 1st result.

Personally, I got lichess-org as a 5th result and since all the first four results were che$$-com, we can say that technically lichess-org is the 2ND result. That was when using Startpage.
When using google directly, I got chess-com 1st and lichess-org 2nd so I wonder whether I am using a different kind of google or what...? :-)
google famously adapts their search results depending on your search history and what you previously clicked on. remember, collecting your data is the first step in how they make money.
These are the two largest chess platforms. Naturally, everyone will compare.
