well, there goes my plan for the advent of chess day 8 (i was gonna try to go through all the possible mate in 6s, i didn't think there were that many)

I remember in the book, they provided an estimate. it was the numeral one followed by a large paragraph of zeroes. It might have been Irving Chernev's Fireside Book of Chess. Probably you have never heard of that one. :(
